Every Casino Goes Through the Same 4 Steps

We do not ask casinos to submit data and we do not reprint their marketing. Every figure comes from the casino's own terms, cashier and lobby. Here is the exact process.

01
Read the Full Terms

We read the general terms and every bonus term end to end, including the clauses casinos bury: max bet rules, game exclusions, dormancy fees and what counts as bonus abuse.

02
Record the LTC Cashier

We record the Litecoin minimums, per-transaction caps, daily, weekly and monthly ceilings and the fees charged at both ends, exactly as the casino's own cashier states them. Where a figure is not published, we say so.

03
Count the Games and Providers

Game and provider counts come from each casino's own lobby data, not its homepage banner. We check the split between slots, live tables and jackpots, and note how many titles are barred from bonus play.

04
Calculate EV and Publish the Score

We run the same EV formula on every welcome bonus and score each casino across 6 objective criteria. The formula and the weightings are published, so you can check the arithmetic yourself.

Why Most Casino Bonuses Cost You Money

EV - expected value - is the average amount you gain or lose from a bonus over many plays. Most welcome bonuses are negative EV. Here is the maths.

The EV Formula

Every bonus has a wagering requirement. You must bet the bonus amount a set number of times before you can withdraw. Each spin has an expected loss based on the slot's RTP (return to player percentage). We multiply the total amount you must wager by the house edge. That is your expected loss.

If your expected loss is larger than the bonus you received, the bonus is negative EV. It costs you money on average. If the bonus received is larger, it is positive EV. Positive EV bonuses are rare - only one casino in our current rankings has one.

We publish the exact EV number for every bonus we score. Not a vague rating. An actual dollar figure.

See the full calculation method →
Worked example - typical bonus
Bonus received €200
Wagering requirement 40x
Total you must wager €8,000
Average slot RTP used 96%
House edge 4%
Expected loss from wagering -€320
Bonus EV -€120

€200 bonus minus €320 expected loss = -€120. This is a losing deal on average.
